Modern School of Music Lessons
Because the Mod School approaches music instruction using Dave Wilbur’s methods, the lessons are structured for results. The typical Mod School student can (and consistently does) go from not playing at all to performing in the end-of-semester concert in as little as 10 weeks. The summer semester is 10 weeks.

Mod Director
Dave started teaching at 23 years of age, and started playing the bass and the guitar at age 15 (that’s a long time ago!) In his musical career, he has been a member of, or free-lanced for, reggae, progressive rock, pop, top 40, swing, salsa, country, folk, bluegrass, heavy metal, punk, be-bop, and big bands.
Utah Drum Lessons
Do you dream of long drum solos during business meetings or in chemistry class? You don’t have to be a band geek in high school to take our percussion lessons and learn to play drums like a pro. Our drum teacher uses the Modern School of Music Method to have you keeping the beat in no time. Utah Piano Lessons
Love piano but shudder at the thought of endless repetitive scales? We do too, so we offer piano lessons for children as well as private piano lessons for adults using our innovative Modern School of Music Method. We understand how to provide piano lessons for kids of all ages in a way that builds confidence through early accomplishment. Whether you want a private piano teacher or to bring the keyboard to a jam in a band setting, we’ll have you playing songs you love in just a few weeks.
